Ten years ago on July 18th I received a heart transplant. A young man, named Clint, decided to donate his organs to give people like me a second chance at life. Since the transplant, I have returned to full time work, fathered 6 children and am running three times a week.

In Run Melbourne 2012; I will be running 10km’s in memory of Clint, in celebration of my 10th transplant anniversary and in support of Transplant Australia.

This run is not about me, it’s about people like Clint and the choice he made. It's about Transplant Australia and their aim to raise awareness of organ donation. Please discuss organ donation with your family so as to make your wishes known.
